Deo-na-Mara is an immaculately clean and well-presented bungalow in an unrivalled location towards the far north of Dunvegan Head. Its views are far-reaching to the striking, white coral beach and Waternish peninsula with its famous village of Stein.
Upon entering the property you are met by a large hallway with the living/dining room off to the right. It’s very spacious and has large windows both sides of the house letting in a lot of natural seascape light. The views are sensational from the seating area.
The kitchen is a good size and has all modern facilities. There’s a door just off from the kitchen that leads out to the rear garden, which has moorland views with two very attractive and weathered croft buildings nestled into the heather.
Further along the wide hallway there’s a good sized family bathroom with rainforest shower. There’s a kingsize double bedroom, a double bedroom, and a twin room. All bedrooms are large, and the two doubles have seascape views.
Deo-na-Mara is set within a large garden, which is fully enclosed, with lots of space to sit outside admiring the natural surroundings and spotting wildlife walking past the door. There are walks aplenty right from the property, with Dunvegan Head a popular circuit. Just across from the property there is a little access track down to a jetty and the coastline for more adventures.
As well as the Three Chimneys restaurant only a few miles away, Dunvegan is close by with many eateries, a shop and of course its castle. Glendale, a thriving crofting community is close to and has places to eat and drink. Glendale is the gateway to the awe-inspiring Point Neist Lighthouse, which guests must visit and experience in the latter parts of the day, or even better at sunset. Beach 10½ miles. Shop and pub 1½ miles, restaurant 2 miles.
