    Centrally located, but on a busy road in the one-way system. I don't think the bedroom windows at the front of the house are doubleglazed, we could hear the traffic at night. We would have appreciated the heating being on when we arrived. The last thing we wanted after a 16 hour journey was to have to look for the boiler instruction manual. A very kind agent from CC sorted it for us. But the house is comfortable and well furnished and near shops, pubs and restaurants.

    Thank you for the installation of a lovely new kitchen. We stayed here 2 years ago and this is a great improvement. The bedrooms are very comfortable but a bit of unsightly damp in the front bedroom wouldn't take much to put right. The shower room could do with an update. However, for our family the position within Ambleside is a huge plus as we travelled on public transport. Definitely would book again.
