Wonderful spacious home, the owners have completely refurbished the house and put a lot of thought into making it feel like a home from home. Exceptionally clean and so very comfortable which made it such a pleasurable to stay. We were lucky to have had good weather so got the best of every thing but I’m sure even on a wet miserable day the house is so nice that we would have still enjoyed our stay. A short walk to the village centre that has one of the best butchers and also a very good restaurant also meant we did not need to use the car too much. There are some wonderful walks on the doorstep with the Bowless visitor centre only 1hr 40min walk away following the river path.
Wonderful location, nice being able to walk down to the river from the cottage and do some exploring with the kids. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable, we will hopefully return again soon.
