This very beautiful part of Scotland offers many activities for the discerning visitor including walking golfing salmon and trout fishing skiing in the Highlands and surfing the waves of Scotland’s sandy beaches at Sandend and Banff. The unspoilt fishing villages of Crovie Pennan Gardenstown Portsoy and Cullen are well worth a visit and although rural the cottages are within an easy drive of Huntly Turriff and Banff. The area boasts many festivals throughout the summer including Fochabers Speyfest Dufftown Whisky Festivals Portsoy Boat Festival Turriff Show Keith Show and various local highland games. Explore the rugged coastline try pony trekking golf tracing your ancestors or visiting National Trust properties. An ideal base to explore this lovely part of Scotland.\n\nDeveron Lodge is set in two and half acres of private woodland overlooking fields and the River Deveron.     Superb family holiday base. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Great accommodation, great location & great owners. The owners are so welcoming & helpful. They even put all our internet shopping order away in the fridge & cupboards. We couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely be back again.
