No smoking.\nOn the edge of the market town of North Walsham this delightful single-storey detached holiday property is ideal for exploring some of the most desired locations along the coastal stretch. Excellent rural views can be enjoyed to the front elevation. The enclosed rear garden with a patio and furniture enjoys the sunshine all day long. There are walking and cycling opportunities which can be enjoyed direct from door. Paston Way footpath is located at the end of the cul-de-sac 40 yards. North Walsham has a good selection of shops a weekly market bowling alley leisure centre with swimming pool restaurants cafés and supermarkets. Popular seaside town of Cromer 8 miles for beach promenade gardens pier town with shops cafés and restaurants. Sandy beaches of Mundesley and Bacton are just a few minutes’ drive. Felbrigg and Blickling Halls NT and Sheringham Park are all within a 30-minute drive. Georgian market town of Holt is 20 miles and a little further is Blakeney Quay 22 miles. RSPB nature and bird reserves and coastal path are an hour’s drive. Pensthorpe bird and nature reserve 32 miles. Wroxham capital of the Norfolk Broads 11 miles for daily boat hire river trips waterside cafés restaurants and shops. City of Norwich 19 miles for excellent shopping centres theatre market castle museum cathedral cafés and restaurants. Beach 4 miles.     A super location. We were near to great walks for the dog as well as the town. A short drive took us to beautiful sandy beaches, all of which had sections where our dog could go. We found a number of dog friendly pubs as well! The cottage itself was more than comfortable enough for our stay and all the equipment we needed was there. Our beds were really comfortable and you couldn't hear a sound at night! The owner had provided an information pack on the appliances (which we certainly needed to use) as well as general information. A teething issue was quickly resolved by the owner. The enclosed garden is a real bonus for dog owners and is a lovely place to sit and relax. We would certainly visit Dot's Place again in the future.

    Posivites: ~ Well positioned ~ Quiet location ~ Kind, friendly next door neighbour (from the property on the left when looking from the road) called Danny. He brought tealight candles round to us to use during a powercut :) Negative points: ~No towels are provided. We've never had to take towels to a holiday rental before. We had to go out and buy some ~ Ridiculous showerhead - it is more like an aerosol spray, it takes ages to wash properly ~ The front bedroom needs blackout blind or thick lined curtain as the streetlight outside means room doesnt get dark ~ we found the central heating noisy ~ we thought the duvets were too small on the single beds - they would probably be ok for children but for adults it meant bits stick/poke out and get cold.

    Thought this might be a bit small for four adults and a dog but we were fine. Great location to explore Norfolk as you can get to both the beaches on the north coast and the Broads in less than an hour.

    A charming bungalow in a quiet, yet convenient location. Perfect if like us you have a dog as there is a lovely circular walk at the end of the road. The only criticism is the toilet is difficult to flush and would benefit from being looked at to avoid wasting water.

    Excellent location to get to other coast and towns in that area of Norfolk. Only 5 mins in car to Sainsburys very useful.Totally safe enclosed garden for my dog would definitely stay there again.
