    Great location, beautiful setting. Very welcoming and accommodating, they had left a bottle of bubbly and chocolates which was a lovely touch. The rooms were spacious and bathrooms were clean. Great living room space and felt very homely. We had a great stay. Would recommend.

    I stayed here with a family of 10 to celebrate my husband turning 40.The house was very clean, user friendly, and wonderful for a big group - the open plan living really works. At no point during our stay did we feel like we under one another's feet. We were really lucky with the weather for a weekend in November which meant we could also take advantage of the local walks.

    Would we return again....absolutely!! Dragon Island is an amazing house, in a fantastic setting, that catered for all of our needs in every way. We were celebrating my husband's 60th, so 10 adults, 2 grandchildren and our dogs, quite a house full normally but not here, this house is so spacious, plenty of room for everyone. It has a wonderful eclectic mix of furniture and is so well equipped from bed linen to kitchen gadgets, you will not want for anything. Where the house is set, with its views and then the amenities at Lower Mill Estate make it a beautiful place to stay, highly recommend it! Phil, Mary & family :)
