Located a 2 minute walk from the award-winning Moors Valley Country Park, yet only a short drive from the New Forest and stunning beaches, this cosy cabin has everything you need to relax or enjoy countless activities on your doorstep! The living area has a lovely seating area with a large window overlooking the garden, and opens up to the well designed galley kitchen. There’s also a bedroom area with a kingsize bed and a separate shower room. Step outside The Cabin onto the covered deck seating space and down the steps to a private patio and barbecue area.
There is so much to do in the immediate area including exploring the New Forest National Park (just a 10-minute drive away or even cycle from the door), with a range of options for walking, cycling and running nearby. Visitors travel from all over the country to visit Moors Valley Country Park, a 1000 acre managed forest and nature reserve with lakes, bike trails, restaurant with takeaway, 18 hole golf course, pitch and putt, fishing and so much more; it’s perfect to explore on foot or by bike. If you’re looking for some fun why not ’Go Ape’ on the tree top challenge or try a session on the Segways. Nearby the towns of Ringwood and Ferndown, as well as Castlepoint Retail Park, are there for all your shopping needs. Dine out in a choice of local restaurants and New Forest pubs, or discover your perfect place for afternoon tea.
The Castleman Trailway can be accessed just 100 yards away. It provides easy walking, a pleasant cycle to Ringwood and if you’re adventurous, in the other direction towards Poole and beyond to Sandbank beaches! By car you can be at the beach in 15 minutes. Head to Bournemouth or Boscombe Beach, a regular winner of various seaside awards due to its excellent facilities and cleanliness. Here you can enjoy the sandy beach, the pier, cafés and restaurants, beach volleyball and table tennis or even learn to surf! Boscombe Chine Gardens are just a short stroll from the beach with a wonderful crazy golf course. And finally the land train runs from Boscombe to Bournemouth. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade one way and catch the train back! Further along the coast brings you to iconic Sandbanks with its millionaires’ row of homes, a great spot for lunch while looking over the bay. A short hop on the ferry brings you to the stunning Purbeck hills and Jurassic coast.
