We had an amazing weekend, cottage is an amazing location and more than adequate for us 3 mums escaping for the weekend.

Lovely warm well located little cottage- who could ask for more? We had a great winter week in Skipton and we managed to get plenty of walking done despite the mud! It’s great to be able to just pop into the town without having to use the car- everything is on the doorstep. The walk along the canal to the Castle Woods is lovely and the castle itself is worth a visit. Unfortunately the walk we really wanted to do along the canal to Gargrave was a bit of a disappointment as the towpath was closed. Never mind- plenty of things to do in the area. Even better to come back to a cosy cottage at the end of the day!

Beautiful location . Very friendly people.

Excellent location and very well equipped cottage. Owner was extremely helpful when we had a few queries during our stay. Location absolutely perfect for Skipton giving the luxury of zero driving all weekend. Would recommend.

Lovely cosy cottage and right on the doorstep of all the shops & market of skipton.

First class accommodation in excellent location so close to town . Would thoroughly recommend this cottage and will definitely return next year.

Super cottage. Yes it's small, but you know that when you book. It is well placed, warm, has a very comfortable bed and possesses loads of charm. Stairs are tight and the bath is narrow, so maybe not for anyone with mobility issues or aged footballers (cough), but we really enjoyed our stay.

Skipton is a charming town which is especially good if you’re travelling with a dog. Very dog friendly shops and pubs and loads of interesting places to walk. The castle woods was my favourite along with nearby Bolton Abbey. The cottage is within easy walking distance of everything and is very comfortable. Kitchen is fairly well equipped but lacks one or two items e.g. no cheese grater, but this is probably only noticeable if you are doing proper cooking. Tv in every room and brilliant heating make it a very cosy and perfect for relaxation. The shower was fine but the bath was very small and water not really hot enough for a good soak. Again, not really a problem as the shower is more than adequate. I would definitely return.

A comfortable well equipped compact cottage ,ideally located for exploring beautiful Yorkshire !

    out of 10

Compact cottage, only 2 of us and was quite tight particularly in the living room. Presented beautifully, fixtures and fittings high quality but need guttering fixing at the front and oven/hob not working correctly when we visited. Stairs tight as am disabled it was a little struggle. Difficult to find but having to park over the bridge in the public car park not great although cost met by owner for the week and loading and unloading problematic due to local traffic as you blocked the road. Kitchen equipment scant so take cooking trays/oven ware and serving spoons/ladels etc. Somebody elses clothes left in one of the bedroom drawers. Tv and Wi-Fi really good. Comfortable beds, gorgeous bathroom but no bath mat provided. Location right on canal, lovely to watch the world go by when in the kitchen. With a few tweaks can be a fabulous cottage stay

Well equipped, very comfortable and convenient. Helpful service.

Cottage was great for me the wife and our 2 dogs ideal base to explore from.

    out of 10

Only criticism lack of storage in the bathroom. Back garden could have been planned better to accommodate maximum sunlight re drying washing. Apart form this, lovely location and would definitely stay there again. Full marks.

A lovely cottage in a good location. Everything you need whilst on holiday even milk and cake on arrival.
