    Dray Cottage is nestled in the heart of the stunning market town of Skipton, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.

    Ground Floor:
    Living room: With gas wood burner, 40’’ Smart TV and French doors leading to patio.
    Kitchen/dining room: With electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

    First Floor:
    Bedroom 1: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request).
    Bedroom 2: With single bed and 2ft 6in pull-out bed (for child).
    Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.

    Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.

    Patio with garden furniture. Public car park 60 yards, cost of parking for 1 car covered by owner. No smoking.

    Set overlooking the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, and next to a small local pub serving good local ales, this gem of a cottage is centrally placed for exploring the bustling market town of Skipton. Enjoying a wide sweeping high street, this historic town has a Norman castle to explore, canal trips to enjoy and a wide selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. For the outdoor enthusiasts, you can walk from the door with walks round Sharp Haw, Flasby Fell or simply enjoy a stroll in Skipton Woods, located at the back of the castle. Known as the ’Gateway to the Dales’, you are also well placed for exploring some of the most stunning scenery in the country. For the dedicated shopaholics, the beautiful spa town of Harrogate is approximately 30-minutes drive away and has something for everyone. Alternatively jump on the train to the bustling city of Leeds. Shop 100 yards, pub 10 yards and restaurant 300 yards.

    Lovely cottage. very convenient to town centre where most places are dog friendly. Only downside for some is steep stairs. Very comfortable super king bed.

    Beautiful cottage, well maintained and decorated. Very comfortable sofas and beds. The owner couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. I can’t recommend this cottage enough if you are looking for a break in Skipton.

    Lovely cosy cottage in great location. Only downside is quite a lot of noise from the pub next door at closing time. We only stayed the weekend so probably the noisiest busiest time, apart from that pretty perfect.

    Dray cottage is in a excellent position for all amenities, with, for us anyway a brilliant outlook. Even though right next door to a pub, nothing could be heard from it. Beautifully furnished, and so comfortable, very warm. Too warm on occasions, but the weather was unseasonably warm. A small but private sitting out area, with furniture. Everything you needed was provided, with maybe one little exception, a bit more cutlery would have been helpful. Overall a gorgeous cottage.

    Fabulous cottage, couldn't be better located, Geri the owner is always available if you have any problems....she even pays for your weekly carpark ticket. Would seriously recommend if you have dogs, area at rear enclosed and secure so you can let them out for toilet etc knowing they are safe.

    Dray Cottage was ideal for the two of us and our two dogs. Right next to the Springs Canal was brilliant for accessing Skipton Woods, the town centre and all the shops and restaurants. It was immaculately presented, superbly warm and cosy and was just what we had been looking for. Contact with the owner was easy, the parking permit was handy and valuable. We were visiting relatives in the area and it was an ideal base. All in all a very good place to stay.

    Dray cottage is very cosy and is ideally located over looking the canal close to the centre of Skipton. The owner Geri is very helpful and the welcome cake and tea/coffee very nice. We would definitely stay here again ?

    Beautifully finished cottage. There was everything we needed for our stay. Absolute first class king size bed, I didn't want to leave it! Great having TVs in both bedrooms. Really well situated for the town and lovely canal walks. The welcome tray was a lovely touch, thank you. We will recommend and we will return!!
