Great location, Driftwood makes the most of the view on offer. Very nicely presented house. Parking in the garage for a long car is impossible though. However there is parking on the other streets.

We had an excellent week at Driftwood. Bearing in mind our 5 year old son is in a wheelchair, and we have a 1 year old, we managed the slope daily, if not more! Plus my dad (76) walks with a stick managed it although he was exhausted each time. Stunning views from the house, it was just missing a BBQ. We fit our VW Tiguan into the garage, so ignore all previous mention of small garage. Small negative, travel cot was smelling and extremely old, could do with replacing.

Best view in the whole of Brixham. House however needs a bit of Tlc. Downstairs toilet handle broken. Kitchen units scrappy. Also the bathroom window on the upper floor needs a blind as the house opposite is just ten feet away. However the position and view are superb and we would definitely go back.

Had a fantastic week staying at Driftwood. Brixham is a great town that has a lot of character and is home to a lot of extremely friendly locals. As mentioned previously the roads around the property are not for the faint hearted, it's hard to complain too much about this as its part and parcel for this part of the world and makes the place so unique. Public transport was fairly priced and very regular so you don't need to use your car to get about each day. I would disagree with previous review that the furniture was dated however i think a bit of a refresh wouldn't go amiss, the doors and skirtings could definitely do with a fresh coat of paint which would make a big difference. The patio doors were also covered in seagull guano which must've been there for a while, this slightly spoiled the first impression and I had to clean this off myself. The view from the cottage is simply fantastic and it's very relaxing to sit back with a drink and watch the goings on around the harbour. I have no complaints in terms of value for money and would definitely look to stay at Driftwood again.

Amazing cottage. So much bigger than the pictures look. The most incredible view EVER. Read some comments about it seeming dated, but it didn't feel that way to us. We are hoping to return next year!

The house was beautiful especially the view from the lounge and dining room. The top floor bedrooms need to have a fresh lick of paint and new furniture as its very dated, the shower in the en- suite really requires maintenance as the noise it makes is horrendous and woke the entire house up every morning. Beware, this is one steep area to walk around and the parking is impossible.

This was the second time I’ve rented Driftwood, so I obviously like the place :—). My only fairly minor complaints are: Heating (scheduled on/off times and apparent lack of manual control meant we were a bit cold some days) Fitments (some handles and toilet seats needed tightening - hot & cold taps were the opposite of what they were marked) Parking (the garage is still far too tight a turn to fit anything larger than a Smart Car). ...otherwise, the place is good.

We were 5 friends staying at Driftwood .a great location lovely property & to a high standard everything we needed.amazing views the only one thing the garage was far too small to use and we sometimes had to park away from property this was a bit of a pain . But had a great time and would definitely go back. Thanks for letting us stay at your property ????
