Absolutely wonderful, we stayed here for our honeymoon and had a lovely time, there are plenty of walks close by and the scenery is stunning. Lovely cabin, couldn't ask for more. Just be prepared for your trip before arriving because there's no wifi, scarce signal and no shops close by (although that adds to the charm of the place).

super location for touring north of Scotland, roads are good and supermarket within 20 minutes, small shop closer. Cottage has everything you need for two, peace and quiet guaranteed. Lovely walks from the cottage, close to waterfall. This was our second visit to Drovers Rest and would love to return again.

owners were very helpful before and during our stayd

The cottage was lovely, the only issue we had was you have to pay for electricity on top. Now bare with me, if you want to cook, the cooking range is induction and therefore uses electricity, same for bathing and keep the house warm. No one mention this to you through out the booking process which is odd considering that is an extra expense, however is mentioned on the website if you dig a little. Not that is already unfare, they decide how much to charge per unit, I leave in London and my electricity bill for a whole month is less than what we came to realise for 2 days in the cotage. So if you want to keep warm and comfortable you would have to spend a ridiculous sum on electricity in order to not freeze inside the house. The closest amenities are about 15 miles away( 20min driving) which are a little too far but manageable. Lovely cottage but not worthy the price.

Would be very nice in the summer months, but cold and expensive to heat in the colder months as all fuel and electricity is charged extra on top of the rental cost

If you are looking for peace and nature, is absolutely right here. The house is lovingly decorated and you feel right at home. It was very very nice here

A wonderful place for a holiday, beautiful countryside, very restful. Easier to find if you don't enter the postcode in the sat nav and don't turn into Garve Village. Little Garve has its own exit off the main Ullapool road.
