    Beautiful cottage excellent setting for walking or days out. Disappointed with views as the garden has become over grown and the views from most windows are obscured by hedges or shrubs. Equipment in house excellent although could benefit from an airer for clothes as there was nothing to hang damp clothing on which can be essential in the lakes.

    A fantastic location with fabulous views. Nicely close enough to stroll into Hawkshead but far enough away from the hustle and bustle when tourists visit the village.

    Fabulous holiday again in this cottage. Location, views and walks from the door are gorgeous. The kitchen is lovely as is the garden. The rest of the inside of the cottage will need to be updated soon, especially the carpets. However for a base for a beautiful place to stay for a walking holiday and base to drive to other villages it is ideal.

    Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden - spectacular views. 5 mins walk to pubs, cafes and small co-op. Good location for walks/tourist attractions in the lakes. Clean and tidy (not really modern decor but we liked it). Would love to go back there and would recommend.

    This cosy cottage is privately located about a 3 minute walk from Hawkshead village centre. It is very well situated for walks from the door. Views from most windows are marvellous! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be re-booking for a return visit!

    Fantastic house in a spectacular setting. Mountain or hillside views from every room, the sitting room with panoramic windows was a real treat. Warm, well decorated and comfortable throughout. Hawkshead village is a 5 minute pleasant walk away with a mix of traditional pubs, quaint cafes and a useful co-op supermarket. Would benefit from towels, a dishwasher and a welcome pack would’ve been nice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

    Our second visit to this excellent cottage, within 500m of Hawkshead centre, although in a very private and quiet site with superb views. One of the best cottages we have rented over many years, well equipped, good heating and very comfortable. Wifi and mobile telephone signals were very good and reliable. The only minor lack was that towels are not supplied although linen and tea towels are.
