Duck Cottage is a charming mews cottage tucked away in a secluded central area. The cottage overlooks Cod Beck, home to the famous Thirsk ducks. Tastefully decorated and presented to a high standard; the quality furnishings and personal touches make it a delightful place to stay. Thirsk, one-time home of the novel writing vet, James Herriot, has a good choice of independent shops, pubs and restaurants set around the cobbled market square.
