Beautiful views in a good position.

Fantastic little hideaway with peaceful views over countryside and beautiful sunsets. Cosy, warm and fully equipped for all weathers, even binnoculas for the superb views. Would not hesitate to return.

Comfortable well-appointed cottage with lovely views across fields to the fells. Ideally situated for exploring the beautiful Forest of Bowland.

    out of 10

Lovely cottage with great views. Only slight downside is traffic on bend in road, right at cottage entrance. Plenty of walks and pretty villages nearby.

    out of 10

Lovely views from the large windows. Nice welcome pack from Deborah & Mike. Great walking in Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland nearby. Very nice stay.

    out of 10

The score mainly reflects our views on the kitchen equipment, the beds and seating were very comfy and 'cosy'. The storage in the kitchen however was minimal, resulting in a lack of equipment. Self catering is possible for two with some improvisation. We would recommend it as a short stay for 2 people.

Nice welcome pack, cottage very clean and presentable. Wonderful views across the fields and hills - sunsets were beautiful and we sat watching them until the light had almost faded. We thought this cottage suited our needs as a couple and would consider that it was good value for money. The owners texted us on our way home to say that they hoped we had had a pleasant stay and to thank us for leaving the cottage clean and tidy - we thought that this was very thoughtful.

This was a lovely clean & comfortable cottage and we would definitely stay there again

Fab weekend away for a birthday celebration and wedding at Mitton Hall ... the location is fab and views stunning especially when the sun was setting! Husband and dad enjoyed using the binoculars to watch the birds. Cottage was spotless and everything needed was provided, would definitely stay again!

Nice little cottage, although more suited to two adults than four. Well equipped and close to a good pub and stunning views. The owner was very helpful and pleasant. Would recommend.

A lovely clean warm and cosy cottage with great views of the Ribble valley countryside. Will definitely consider a return visit. Hosts left a lovely welcome basket and left us to it. Thank you!

The cottage was welcoming and decorated for Christmas. It was easy to be warm and comfortable there. The owners were helpful but unobtrusive and the sheep in the field were very curious about us. Very comfortable beds.
