Glasgow city centre is 18 miles from the apartment offering a wide range of restaurants, bars and pubs. Situated close to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, and with easy access to Glasgow and Stirling, the cottage is in an ideal location to explore the area. If you enjoy outdoor activities, then you are spoilt for choice. The area is ideal for walkers of all abilities with the famous West Highland Way passing close by and there are many cycle routes surrounding it. Fishing is available nearby.
The area boasts a magnificent diversity of scenery with dramatic peaks, waterfalls, hidden caves and mysterious, forest-covered slopes. Enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond see the breathtaking scenery from the water and discover the islands for stately homes on the shore. The area has a rich history and the ancient city of Stirling is just 25 miles away with its famous castle, Wallace Monument and Bannockburn Visitor Centre, along with many historic links to people such as Rob Roy Macgregor, William Wallace and Mary Queen of Scots, all of whom had a part to play in the history of this area.
