Reservoir Cottage (UK37901) and Reservoir Retreat (UK37905) are fabulous holiday homes, newly refurbished to a fantastic standard in 2022 with your perfect holiday in mind, they make the perfect setting for your next family holiday or an ideal spot for couples or even a romantic break. Upon entering Reservoir Cottage there is an open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with French doors offering stunning views over the reservoir. The living area has comfortable sofas and a Smart TV, the French doors lead out on to a decked balcony area. The kitchen is well-equipped allowing you to cook everything from the simplest meal to a family feast. The master bedroom has reservoir views, a kingsize oak frame bed and en-suite shower room with the second bedroom also offers wonderful views of the reservoir and kingsize oak frame bed. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and there is also a utility room.
Reservoir Retreat has a large living room which has wood burner, Smart TV, ample seating and views over the garden to the reservoir. Off the living room is the kitchen/dining room, with a large dining table perfect for family games and enjoying a meal. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to rustle up anything from the simplest breakfast to a gourmet feast. The first floor is where you will find the master bedroom with amazing reservoir views, kingsize bed and en-suite shower room. Bedroom two has a double bed and views of the reservoir and there is a family bathroom with shower over bath. The second floor has two single bedrooms, both with spectacular views, there is also a utility room. Both cottages have a garden with a wonderful covered hot tub, meaning you can use it whatever the weather and allowing the cottages to be enjoyed all year round. The large garden table and chairs is the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco dining and sun loungers to top up your tan. Your four-legged friend is more than welcome and the large lawned garden is enclosed, so children and dogs can run around. Through the garden gate, there is a large, shared garden area, with access to an extremely unique wood fired sauna, in the style of an old gypsy caravan as well as two large oak barrelled ice baths for the more daring.
Just across the road is the access to Durleigh Reservoir where walks can be enjoyed with all the family or just a spot to sit and enjoy the local wildlife. Just a 15-minute walk, or 3-minute drive, takes you to the local pub where food, drinks and live music can be enjoyed. Its just a 10-minute drive to the centre of Bridgwater with its many shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment facilities. The seaside resorts of Burnham on Sea, Brean and Weston Super Mare are within easy reach or head over to Glastonbury for ancient medieval history and enjoy the quirky shops or climb the Tor.
