Ideally located in the picturesque village of Crail, in the East Neuk of Fife, Dwarka is perfect for a romantic escape or a family holiday by the seaside. Renovated and furnished to a very good standard, Dwarka is a semi-detached, single-storey cottage in the conservation village of Crail, with bus stops just a 2-minute walk away. Adjacent to the owners’ home, the accommodation is well presented throughout. The bright and comfortable living room has bay windows which offer views of the Firth of Forth, as does the dining room. The kitchen has been fitted with quality appliances and is well-equipped for practicing your cooking skills. With freshly caught sea food available locally, fish on the menu is a must! Two bedrooms and a family shower room complete the accommodation. Outside there is a pretty front garden where the sun shines in the morning. You can enjoy your morning coffee while admiring the views. The large back garden also has a summerhouse where you can make the most of the afternoon and evening sun, and is also perfect for alfresco dining.
Crail is a gorgeous village to wander around with old lanes and ancient buildings to explore. The picture-postcard harbour is one of the most photographed locations in Scotland and is still a working harbour for small fishing boats. Don’t forget your bucket and spade for the award-winning sandy beaches - a great place for children of all ages to paddle and build a sandcastle. The village itself has a good selection of places to eat and drink as well as shops, galleries and pottery.
A great favourite in the area is the Fife Coastal Path with miles of walks along the shore and spectacular sea views. For a day out, the historic city of St Andrews is only a short drive away and can offer something for all ages and tastes, from historic buildings and museums to the Sea Life Centre and miles of sandy beaches where the iconic scene from Chariots of Fire was filmed. The city centre is packed with quality bars and restaurants and many independent shops and boutiques. Famed for being the home of golf, and perfect if you are a keen golfer, the area has around 50 courses to practice your skills, with two of them being just a short walk away. After spending a day exploring this stunning location, Dwarka provides you with the ideal cottage to relax and unwind. Beach 300 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
