Beautiful cottage, very comfortable and spacious, in a lovely peaceful setting. Minutes from the main street in Comrie with lovely cafes and shops. I would highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our week in Earnside Cottage. It was clean, comfortable and very handily placed for exploring the surrounding area which is beautiful. It was also very quiet as the location, tucked away down a lane beside the river, had no traffic noise.

Disappointing that entry is not allowed until 4.00pm. When we arrived at 4.00pm the floor was still very wet from being mopped, and by the looks of it, with a dirty mop. Very dusty too. Would be a squeeze if 8 people stayed there. There was nowhere to hang towels after a shower or bath. The advertising photo is very deceiving as it looks like there aren't many properties around it, but there are a lot. Confusing too as to what area of grass at the front of the house belonged to the house. Only space to park 2 cars and that was a squeeze.

This was our second holiday at Earnside Cottage which we really enjoyed as the cottage is in a beautiful setting by the river and is very comfortable and well equipped.

Had a great week! A contained back garden would be good for the dog. Also they could do with a more comfortable sofa. Other than that everything was perfect.

Earnside is a warm, comfortable cottage, great to come back to after a walk in the snow/ice. The cottage is spacious. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen mostly well equipped (there are always a couple of things you miss from your own kitchen). Showers were hot, another necessity after walking, however the upstairs bathroom only has a bath though those of our party not in the ensuite bedroom were happy to use the downstairs shower. Earnside cottage is in a great location, very near the centre of the village with its shops, cafe,deli etc. but still peaceful and quiet. The surrounding countryside is very scenic. We stayed happily for a week and would definitely stay here again.

This holiday cottage, with uninterrupted views to the riverbank from the front rooms, has a lovely riverside setting just a short walk from the village centre. Comrie is located in the south of Perthshire, at the edge of the Highlands, and is a bustling village with dramatic mountain scenery. The village has a wide selection of shops and 3 local pub/restaurants. A larger variety of shops and a supermarket are available in Crieff, 7 miles. There are 5 golf courses within a 10 mile radius; Comrie’s own 9-hole course is only a few minutes’ walk away. Within an hours’ drive there is access to around 60-70 Munros for the experienced hill walker. The River Earn in front of the property is a highly regarded fishing river, supporting various types of game fish (permits required). Mountain biking routes have been developed by the local cycling centre to cater for all levels. Shop 50 yards, pub and restaurant 75 yards. Ground floor: Living room with double sofa bed. Second living/dining room. Kitchen with dining area. Shower room with toilet. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 2 twin, one with en-suite shower room and toilet. Bathroom with toilet. Gas CH, gas, elec, bed linen and towels inc. T/cot. H/chair. Freesat TV. DVD. Stereo/CD. iPod dock. Gas hob. Electric oven. M/wave. W/machine. D/washer. F/freezer. Wi-fi. Garden and furniture. BBQ. Parking (3 cars). Fly fishing £20 per day. No smoking. NB: Couples and family bookings only. Unfenced river in grounds.
