Lovely property in a beautiful rural setting. Owners on site and very friendly. Lots of things to see and do in the area, easy to get to the coast and Exeter. Hot tub great, with fab views over the countryside. Beds comfy and plenty of bathrooms! We enjoyed walking up the very steep hill to the local pub, great food and easier walk on the way back! It took us around 17 minutes each way.

This is a great holiday home in a fantastic location. The overall rating would have been a lot higher but for two things related to accessibility. The downstairs bedroom is small, hardly large enough to push a wheelchair in and no room to turn one, or bring alongside the bed. There is also no storage in the bedroom, so clothes and other equipment that some one in a wheelchair might need were stored in the utility room next door or under the stairs. The ramp to the lounge was too steep to make it accessible for a wheelchair user. We used the living area and outside space, though, we didn’t need the lounge. There is a lack of accommodation which meets all accessibility requirements, so I would reccomend to those with limited mobility, or who can walk from wheelchair to bed, but this would not be suitable for someone who has to transfer direct from wheelchair to bed. This should be made clear on the website. However, the location and the accommodation for those fit and able is lovely. We had a great time and made the most of the hot tub, bbq and fire pit and watching the wildlife.

We had an absolutely amazing time here for my sisters Hen Do. We even looked to book again in August but its fully booked! The owners were very helpful and welcoming, the place was spotless and the sun was shining! Great place would definitely recommend.

We all enjoyed the holiday. l was surprised that no one greeted us on arrival, the scones and a bottle of fizz was nice.Every bedroom was in use and we had the downstairs bedroom, the only problem being no hanging space.We had mixed weather and used the washing machine there being young children in our party, a tumble dryer would have been very useful. There is a public house at the end of the lane The Cadeleigh Arms,who made it quite clear when we attempted to book a meal that large parties were not welcome.In fact l found them on the telephone to be quite rude.It is a lovely place but if l am honest l think over priced.

Fantastic setting with lovely country views. Hot tub was brilliant and very well used by us. Some disappointment however with regard to cleanliness. Not enough crockery for 12 people ie plates, mugs etc some of which was chipped and badly scratched. Could do with more saucepans. The oven is unusually narrow - wouldn’t like to try cooking Christmas dinner/turkey for 12 in it. Towel allowance was on mean side ie one small bath towel per person with a couple of hand towels for downstairs loo and kitchen. Lounge is dark and uninviting, a fire helps to cheer it up. Despite criticisms would return and hope owners take comments on board for future.

A wonderful property in a wonderful location. We had a great family holiday and enjoyed the comfort and space of the property. It was thoroughly clean and well equipped in the most perfect setting. It was ideal for exploring the surrounding areas. We hope to be back!

We stayed as a group of couples for my 40th Birthday. A stunning house with fabulous facilities in a wonderful setting. Great for a party and for a chilled day/evening. Lovely local pub in walking distance too. Even in December we were able to make use of the hot tub and outdoor fire pit. I would definitely return for another occasion.
