Loved the cottage, beautiful location, amazing holiday and nice and quiet aside from the main road outside. But the road wasnt a big issue at all just crossing it can be a challenge when busy. Low ceilings so luckily enough we are short ppl no problem for us but can see it being an issue for others. Milk in the fridge and dog bowls, towels and treats provided with a welcome card. Only thing missing was a couple of loungers in the garden and sauces in the kitchen cupboards. Will definitely return!

Our booking was very short notice but everything was ready for us just as if we had booked months in advance. Easter Cottage is a beautiful ‘home from home’ and had absolutely everything in that we could have wished for. Definitely not a ‘holiday let’ - a real home, full of home comforts. In our position- looking for a ‘bolt hole ‘ to spend time together as a family at short notice it fitted the bill perfectly, providing peace, tranquility and comfort. We were also very lucky with the weather - hitting the hottest day of the year. The owner is particularly welcoming to dogs. Thornton le Dale is a beautiful village and extremely well placed for exploring the coast/moors/Dalby Forest and not too far from York. Highly recommend.

Lovely little cottage on the edge of a beautiful village. The owner has been very honest in her description... There are very steep stairs and steps so it's not suitable for young children or older people. We loved the Snug.

Great spot, super accommodation, only downside been no parking outside and a busy road if like me you like the bedroom window ajar at night. That been said really enjoyed the spot, had some great walks and the locals were very dog friendly which is great.
