This character 17th century, semi-detached cottage enjoys an idyllic position above Coledale Beck, at the foot of Whinlatter Forest and in the heart of the delightful lakeland village of Braithwaite. Within 400 yards there are 2 traditional inns, each serving good food, a restaurant and a village shop. For more amenities, the bustling market town of Keswick is only 2 miles away. The cottage is full of character with heavily beamed ceilings and an inglenook fireplace with open fire. There are fabulous walks from the door, including the Coledale Horseshoe, taking in Grisedale Pike and Causey pike. The Whinlatter Forest visitor centre has a shop, café, children’s activities and mountain bike trails.
