To the front of the cottage is a large communal courtyard with private seating; perfect for enjoying a morning coffee at the start of a busy day or perhaps enjoy a glass of wine on an evening. A BBQ is provided should you decide to dine al-fresco. A short drive will bring you to the popular harbour town of Bridlington, famous for its crab and lobster trawlers. With miles of sandy beach, long promenades and traditional family seaside fun there is plenty on offer. A little further along the coast are Scarborough and Filey. Inland why not explore the unspoilt rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds or spend a day shopping in the upmarket town of Beverley, the culture and theatres of Hull or go back in time and enjoy the historic City of York.
A holiday to The Tack Room would not be complete without a clifftop walk at Flamborough or a day trip to the RSPB reserve at Bempton, which is home to a colony of Puffins and Kittiwakes. You will be spoilt for choice if you enjoy visiting stately homes with Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House, Sewerby Hall and Castle Howard (from Brideshead Revisited) all within easy reach. The Tack Room is the perfect location for your peaceful Yorkshire holiday.
