The location of this cottage is perfect if you love peace tranquillity and nature on your doorstep. We had a superb holiday here and felt truly relaxed. The cottage is comfortable and spacious and the garden beautiful. Wooler 7 miles away is the nearest town with shops and eateries which are limited - the only supermarket is the co-op which is a bit pricey. The cottage is not easy to find so follow the instructions given carefully and make sure you have some food and provisions with you when you arrive.

Lovely cottage with amazing views. Very comfortable and we had a super holiday. The only thing we had a bit of a problem with was the track down to the cottage which was very rough, ok for a 4x4 but our cars struggled a bit.

We had a lovely week. Fantastic property, extremely spacious and very high quality fixtures and fittings. Very remote but that was ok by us. Beautiful scenic location. Excellent value for money. Just make sure that you name sure you have everything you will need as it's a long way to a shop but as long as you are well equipt it's not a problem.

Lovely cottage with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Great garden (fully enclosed) for dogs and children alike. Lovely patio to catch the sun during our February ‘heat wave’! Super comfy king size bed. Great walks straight from the front door.

Lovely place to stay, well presented, clean, very big with fantastic view out the back. Our dog loved the huge garden and the walks. Sheep in distant fields, no cows so very dog friendly. Saw deer, stoat and hawks. Very comfortable place. Neighbours friendly too. We hope to return one day soon.

Wow, what an amazing cottage in an amazing location. Emma couldn't have been more helpful, she was the perfect host. Lovely walks straight out of the back door, our collie Annie just loved it. We are already working out when we can visit again. We can recommend Eastsett Byre as a perfect getaway without reservation and the night sky is breathtaking.

We had a fabulous stay at Eastsett Byre recently. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped (better than any other cottage we've stayed in). The attention to detail was really very thoughtful. The setting was very peaceful and the surrounding views stunning. Wooler, 15 minutes drive away, is a lovely town, with local butchers, deli and cafes. We'd definitely recommend to others.

What a place ! Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. It’s so peaceful with stunning views. The cottage itself is fabulously appointed with everything you could want , very comfortable beds , lovely kitchen, big enclosed garden safe for dogs and kids. No mobile signal so that’s either a good or bad thing depending on your point of view but it does have good WiFi so you can make calls that way. We loved every minute there and will be going back. If you want to immerse yourself in Northumberlands stunning countryside but do it with a little bit of luxury then Eastsett Byre is the perfect cottage for you.

Fabulous cottage with spectacular views of the Cheviots. The cottage has stone and slate floors downstairs which is ideal for dogs. Lovely farm house kitchen which is very well equipped. The heating works well and there is a log burner for colder days. Great shower and very comfortable bed to sink into after those long walks. Enjoyed sitting on the swing seat with a cup of tea and watching the wildlife go by. There is lots to do in the area and it's not far from the beaches. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful part of the Country with plenty of places to visit round about. The cottage itself is gorgeous, well equipped, clean, quiet. It has a secure garden surrounded by countryside, with a barbecue for use of by guests, a great touch. We will be back!
