Both are presented to a very good standard and are perfect for a relaxing coastal holiday for families couples and friends at any time of year. The Old Shippen ref 29768 has two lovely bedrooms and a cosy wood burner ideal to curl up beside on a chilly evening. The pretty garden has views across open countryside and both undercover and outside seating areas. The Granary ref 30930 is a spacious retreat for two nestled in a small courtyard it tucks itself away neatly behind the owners’ farmhouse with private access a sunny patio area and a small wine fridge perfect for an alfresco supper. The owner also supplies an ample welcome pack with local produce for each property.The coastline in both directions offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in the West Country and there are many long sandy beaches and hidden sheltered coves to explore. The unspoilt village of Hartland is 2 miles away and has a good selection of village shops and highly commended pubs serving food. Coastal walking fishing golf horse riding surfing and sailing are all available in this stunning area. Docton Mill Hartland Quay and RHS Rosemoor Gardens are well worth a visit along with many pretty fishing villages to explore including nearby Clovelly Instow and Appledore.     The excellent accommodation was a perfect place for a holiday. It had everything you could need and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The farm is in a small hamlet with the village a couple of miles away. The only problem was that to get anywhere one had to go down very narrow lanes with very few passing places. If you don't mind that then it was a good point to visit all the places on the Hartland Peninsular.

    Absolutely lovely cottage. Very pleased with it. Nice and modern and comfortable

    Fantastic 6days at Granny, lost a day due to storm Callum as we were on Lundy but the owners were so welcoming. We loved the welcome pack with the free range eggs. Had a lovely weather to explore Hartland and surrounding areas. Clovelly village is must to visit. Definitely worth trip back to a lovely cottage.
