Egryn is a magnificent, historic, Grade ll listed, Welsh medieval hall dating from 1510, and is one of the finest and rarest of its kind. It is situated on a working farm and has a large, private, walled garden. At the heart of this unique building is the medieval hall which has been faithfully restored by the National Trust using traditional building techniques. The cottage is beautifully furnished in keeping with each period of its development with a replica ‘Egryn’ dining table having pride of place in the medieval dining hall, skilled craftsmanship in the grand sitting room and a Victorian parlour with piano. The large private gardens with patio and the variety of spacious living areas are great for entertaining, making Egryn the perfect place for family holidays, get togethers and all special occasions.
The property is convenient for the coastal towns of Barmouth with all amenities and traditional seaside amusements, and Harlech, with its majestic castle ruins. The Llyn Peninsula is within an easy drive, making Egryn the perfect base for exploring and discovering the natural beauty of North Wales and the Snowdonia National Park.
The lovely sandy coastline of Cardigan Bay is just a short drive away, with walks from the door through the ’Scheduled Ancient Monuments’ of the Rhinogydd range. A wonderful cottage to return to at the end of the day. Beach 1/2
