had a lovely holiday in a lovely cottage, everything you need and very quiet and the owner Rachel is lovely, well positioned for visiting the area

We felt totally at home, even from before our arrival, when Rachel sent me a welcoming text message giving all the details of how to find the cottage. When we arrived, there was a really exceptional welcome pack, giving us everything we needed to launch our holiday, along with plenty of information about things to do in the area and all the facilities we might need. The house was spotlessly clean and everything was comfortable - we really could not have asked for anything more. Having Rachel and her family next door meant we were able to ask any questions easily, and we were also able to stroke the friendly cats in the back garden, which is always a bonus. We would love to visit again, and we recommend Elm Farm Cottage highly to anyone looking for a cosy, comfortable Somerset getaway. Thanks to Rachel for making us so welcome!

Elm cottage and it’s hosts are amazing! The local pubs are within walking distance and all serve great food. We had a great time and would love to go back!

We had the best time at Elm cottage, for the four of us and a dog it was spacious and cosy, with many great evenings cosied up with food and a movie. Cottage is beautifully maintained and was a great location for day trips. Hosting was also exemplary with many housewarming treats on arrival...including for the dog! We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely comfy cosy cottage, but with plenty of space for 6. Beautifully kept by very helpful owners. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautifully clean and well equipped cottage. The welcome basket and essentials were very thoughtful. The village is quiet with some lovely countryside walks and Taunton is a short drive away. What else could you need? Thank you for a lovely stay.

Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived. The welcome packs were a brilliant and unexpected surprise. The cottage was actually bigger than we expected, the layout worked really well for us as 5 adults in 3 rooms. The 2 separate toilets meant we were never queuing. Sharing the bathroom posed no problem either. The bedrooms were spacious and airy with perfect storage and decor. We loved the living room and used the wood burner on 3 nights and were toasty and warm. The kitchen rose admirably to the task of cooking our full Christmas dinner and we had everything we needed. The location was ideal. On Christmas Eve we walked out to Corfe with our dog, and came back via Pitminster, visiting 2 dog friendly pubs where Dexter got treats! After Christmas we spent a lovely sunny afternoon on the West Somerset Steam Railway which was only about 40 minutes away by car. There are limited local shops but Taunton is only about 10 minutes away. We loved the cottage and would happily stay there again

A real cosy cottage in a pretty small village at the foot of Blagdon Hill. The snug sitting room has a huge inglenook fireplace, comfy arms chairs and sofa with a great TV entertainment system (Netflix and BT Sport) perfect for a comfortable winter's night in front of the tele! There's a great selection of pubs locally for drinks and eats, the best we found for food was The Queens. The Lamb and Flag in the village is good for a beer or two! During the day, there is some great walking from the doorstep across fields, woods and into the hills. A great network of quiet lanes offer safe cycling and lots of routes to choose from. There are maps and guidebooks to plan trips out and about. The owner's are very friendly and welcoming and have fitted out the cottage beautifully. We felt very relaxed and at home at Elm Farm Cottage. Would definitely recommend.
