    This is a really comfortable, spacious flat - we were just a couple though there is space for another adult/couple - not really suitable for v. small children and the stairs would be a bit tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Our second stay. Its a lovely quiet area. The village only has the pub downstairs as an amenity - but a short drive to Keswick or Cockermouth would get you everything you need. We recommend going over to the coast at Allonby also to get away from Lake District crowds or just a change of scenery -. We ate in the pub most nights and had a great value, enjoyable meal each time. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

    Very comfortable apartment. We were made very welcome by Mark (in the pub downstairs). The pub was very handy for evening meals because there is nothing else for miles. Food very good there. The property had everything we needed and the beds in particular were very comfortable. A little out of the way, had spectacular views. Would recommend.

    Great flat for the money. It would benefit from a full-sized fridge freezer; a less temperamental shower and WiFi that works throughout the whole property. However, we would still recommend the flat and would stay there again as it was great value and the owners were brilliant.
