Garden furniture. Barbecue. Outdoor swimming pool private open Jun-Sep weather permitting. Off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry no pets. No smoking. Please note 2 separate staircases to first floor one with open-tread stairs. No access to the rest of the first floor from the en-suite bedroom. Sorry no hen or stag parties.\n\nThis holiday home with its own private outdoor swimming pool is located in the centre of the small village of Escos in Bearn. The property boasts a large enclosed porch with a pool table football table table tennis darts or to simply escape the madness for a while and indulge in your favourite book. The garden covered terrace and barbecue are perfect for a family get together or to simply sit back and immerse yourself in the peaceful setting. This holiday home is spacious and comfortable and has been furnished to a good standard to ensure all guests have everything they need for a stress free holiday.\nThere is a beautiful natural lake 16km which hosts a range of water activities that will entertain a group of all ages and thrill seekers will be able try the stand-up paddle boats kayaks and boats. The Gave de Pau is very close and guests are welcomed to swim in a relaxed atmosphere. The beautiful city of Biarritz is 64km but in the immediate vicinity of the holiday home you’ll find beautiful villages like La Bastide Clearance classified among the most beautiful villages in France or Bidache and its castle where Gramont can be seen from the top of the keep a unique panoramic view of the Bidouze valley and the Pyrenees. Oloron Sainte-Marie a beautiful city of art and history is 48km. Also spend a day visiting the walled city of Navarrenx 27km away one of the oldest cities in Béarn.\nNearby many hiking and equestrian routes allow you to enjoy the beauty of the landscapes. The ‘sneakers factory’ Mauleon is 3km and here you can discover the secrets behind this timeless shoe. This is an ideal holiday home for spending your days in pure relaxation. Shop 15km and restaurant 2km.\n\nThe nearest airport is Biarritz.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA private pool a family games room and an enclosed garden with terrace and barbecue.     The listing is a bit out of date, the house is better bathroom wise than it states. There is a downstairs toilet and a modern shower room with toilet and basins upstairs. There is also a new bathroom suite with toilet up the stairs from the second kitchen. The house is well equipped with a washing machine and an area to dry clothes. The wi-fi worked well and the large games room is fun. The pool is well maintained (the filters stopped working and the maintenance came straight away). Also had to rescue a small black western whip snake (we think - bite not fatal to humans) from the filter with the pool net! Enjoyed visiting the Pyrenees and the walled village of Navarrenx.
