The cottage sits in landscaped grounds with 700 holly trees, and being withinin the National Park, there are tracks from the cottage providing access to excellent walks, including the adjoining Carningli Mountain, as well as walks through the ancient wood of Ty Canol to Pentre Ifan Cromlech. A short drive away is the popular coastal village of Newport. Complete with a wide range of eateries specialising in organic and home grown produce locally sourced, coupled with some traditional Welsh pubs with local ales making it the perfect spot to explore after a busy day sightseeing in Pembrokeshire. Newport Sands beach is about 10 minutes away and offers the perfect beach for all ages, here you can make sandcastles, discover rock pools or take a stroll with golden sand beneath your toes. A great day out for all is the walled town of Tenby complete with its sandy beach, Oakwood, Wales largest them park, Heatherton World of Adventure and Folly Farm Zoo are all within a 40-minute drive for fantastic family days out.
