Fair Meadow House is a three storey, character property in the centre of the popular conservation village of Itteringham. It has been thoughtfully renovated and furnished to provide all you need for a great holiday. Close to the village you will find the National Trust’s Blickling Estate, 4 miles away, which was once home to Anne Boleyn, and Felbrigg Hall, 9 miles, which is situated just outside Cromer with its famous pier and beaches. The north Norfolk coast offers a varied coastline with everything from sand and shingle beaches to marshes and quays for you to explore. The coastal towns of Cromer, Sheringham and Wells are all nearby, and all have their own individual character to discover. The nearby town of Holt offers a high street packed with artisan boutiques, cafés and restaurants, plus you can ride the steam train from here to Sheringham aboard the North Norfolk Railway. The Thursford and Muckleburgh Collections are close by too, and heading in the other direction, you will reach the Norfolk Broads or the city of Norwich. In all, the area is packed with lots to see and do, whether you are exploring in the car, on foot, or by bicycle. After a busy day, you can return to Fair Meadow House to relax and unwind, perhaps in the private garden watching the sun set with a glass of wine, or by one of the wood burners. The village also boasts a community run village shop (adjacent to the house), which is open 7 days, a week, plus a popular gastro-pub which is just a 2-minute walk away. Beach 9 miles. Shop 5 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
