    Location was great. We had a wonderful holiday with a cosy comfortable house to relax in after long days out. Abby (dog) enjoyed her stay too. The only drawback was walking up that hill, two of us have problems walking, maybe suggest including this within the information on the website. Oh we both made the hill albeit very slowly. Many thanks for the great weather.

    The house is very clean and well presented and has everything you need. It’s situated on a VERY steep drive so would highly recommend using the garage to park your car on level ground. It’s only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Bowness however this is down a very steep bank so coming back up is a challenge if you’re not fit - although a break half way up to catch your breath should do the trick. I would definitely recommend this house.

    Great place to stay, spacious,clean,comfortable and well equipped. Short walk to town,lake and country side. Distant lake views from front bedroom windows. Didn't want to leave.Would stay again.

    A lovely house. Very comfortable and relaxing. We all felt at home straight away. I have only given it a 9 rather than 10 as the double bed in the master bedroom was very small. After 2 sleepless nights we swapped with our son to a different room. After that slept the best I have in ages. We will definitely be returning as location fantastic to explore the Lakes. Also spoilt for choice for pubs and restaurants to go to. We were all sad to leave and are looking forward to returning next year.

    Very comfortable, clean and warm house, quietly situated at the end of a cul-de-sac,with everything we needed. We didn't risk the drive or huge garage for our high big 8 seater so parked on grass away from other driveways. Enclosed garden was perfect for us and dogs but a barrier may be needed for toddlers due to steps to garage. Great to sit outside and enjoy the sun. Front terrace and seating great for sitting in the afternoon and evening with a drink watching the sunset. Shops, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants,boats, activities all nearby and the steep hill kept us fit plus we found a gentler walk through a nearby street past the wee playpark. Beautiful woodland and fell walks just up the street leading to more fantastic views. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend though not for elderly /disabled due to steps and steep inclines nearby

    NOT PERFECT THAT WOULD BE 10 OUT OF 10 BUT VERY CLOSE NEVERTHELESS. ONLY ONE REAL COMPLAINT WHICH HAS BEEN REPORTED AND THAT WAS THE FACT THAT THE RUG IN THE LOUNGE SMELT OF DOGS. WHILST WE APPRECIATE THAT DOGS ARE ALLOWED, IT IS ALL THE MORE REASON TO WASH/CLEAN IT CONSTANTLY. HAVING YOUNG CHILDREN WITH US IN THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES WAS NOT IDEAL.

    Good holiday but up a steep hill. My husband has copd so would not be able to walk this hill. We couldn't go down in car as very hard to find a parking space so had to walk down and get taxi back up.

    Lovely clean house that is tastefully decorated. Comfortable sitting areas, and very well equipped kitchen. Netflix was a nice little bonus. Heating was readily set to come on at regular intervals throughout the day. Double garage equipped with easy to use washing machine and dryer. Lots of cleaning materials, toilet rolls and dog waste bags provided. Very close to local amenities. Spoilt for choice with the selection of restaurants. Ideal location from which the Lake District can be explored. Although only a very short walk, the steepness of the hill leading to and from the shops etc posed a problem for the older members of our party. The wheelie bin was full when we arrived meaning that we had to dispose of our rubbish in the bins around Windermere. The bin collection days were not as stated given that we were staying over the Christmas holiday period, but we would have put the bins out had we known the ‘amended’ timetable.
