Only stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairview cottage. The views from the cottage are lovely and there are sheep and lambs roaming freely outside. The outdoor area is very secure if you have dogs and the hose pipe came in very handy for hosing down 2 very muddy labs! The inside of cottage is very homely and don't worry if you forget to take any necessities as the cottage supplies everything you would need. The only thing which might be a problem for a family is viewing the TV, maybe a corner sofa would solve the problem. Otherwise can not fault this lovely little cottage.

We had a lovely time at Faireview. Yes the tv was at an odd angle but we moved the sofa to suit and it was fine. We enjoyed the real fire, do get some coal as it helped get it nice n hot to burn the damp logs. As for hot the place heats up very well. We weren't cold ever. The roll top bath was a treat for me reading my kindle with a glass of white. Its has everything you need, towels and tea towels etc. We have 2 older boys who stayed in their rooms mostly. They were comfortable. And our double bed tho low was one of the most comfortable I've slept on. I did use the oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer and all great. The cottage sits on a farm with Sheep all around. The neighbours were friendly also. Quiet and tranquil. Birds and animal with the pure sound of nature. Loved it! Lots to see and do with long walks out with the dog. We all enjoyed the countryside. The steam train though we didn't get to ride on was only down the road. Coming back for that one! We did get confused with the directions on where to find foot paths etc. The River Severn walk to Bewdley is just past the red phone box. The foot path does look like someone's private drive but it clearly states on the gate it is for public. Which is the easily missed bit. But don't because it's a great walk for 45min to the pretty little town. There is lovely little pubs and tables that look onto the River Severn to view whilst you eat. A must do for the better weather. Kidderminster and Bridgenorth was ok to visit but for shopping not much to see. Plenty of food stores in Kiddeminster. Maria and Tony were lovely people and made us feel welcome. Thank you again for sharing your Fairview with us.

We had a 4 night stay here in December, two of us with 2 dogs. It is a lovely cottage, warm & cosy and all that you need for a stay away. It is a little remote though so you need to drive to get anywhere. You can walk into Bewdley from there (not so easy in December) in under an hour. Very minor moan about the TV being in an odd position but all else was generally good.

Beautiful place and location and plenty to see and do. Plenty of walks, Wyre forest, Bridnorth, Ludlow and Cleobury Mortimer all dog friendly places and lovely towns.
