The apartment is situated above the clubhouse at Keswick Golf Course with its own private entrance private parking and good quality fixtures and furnishings throughout. Fairways enjoys an enviable position surrounded by some of the most iconic Northern Lake District Fells including views of Blencathra Skiddaw and the Helvellyn Range. This makes for a dramatic backdrop and an unforgettable Lake District experience. \n\nFairways can comfortably sleep up to six guests in three good sized bedrooms. The spacious open-plan living and dining room is a real social hub and ideal for board games a few drinks an evening meal or a Saturday night in front of the 42 Smart TV. The contemporary bathroom features a large shower enclosure heated towel rail toilet and a separate bath for a long soak after a day of adventure. A lot of thought and care has gone into the interior design and it has been furnished with guest’s comfort high on the list of priorities. It’s peaceful location is just perfect for couples families or golfing groups. Discounted golf packages including club hire are available bookable via the clubhouse while the fully stocked bar and restaurant serving good quality food is open most days and also early evenings during the summer months.\n\nIf you like outdoor adventure including climbing walking and cycling you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and routes around Blencathra and the Helvellyn range. The location is perfect as you are only ½ mile to the A66 which regular visitors will know is the main artery through the Northern Fells from Penrith to Cockermouth so accessing the whole region is a piece of cake. The village of Threlkeld is less than a mile away with a choice of two good restaurants and pubs serving local ales and great food. While a short ride of less than 5 miles brings you to the tourist hot spot of Keswick. This vibrant town has a great outdoor market and plenty of places to eat and drink and is a firm favourite offering plenty of deli’s bakeries coffee shops and local craft stalls. It’s bustling centre has an abundance of quality restaurants pubs serving local cask ales independent shops and the famous outdoor and fashion brands. \n\nIf you like culture check out the Theatre By The Lake 5¼ miles away with its award-winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater where you can also hire a rowing boat. For family fun why not try Puzzling Place 5 miles a mind boggling attraction based on optical illusions or the Derwent Pencil Museum home to the largest pencil in the world also 5 miles away.     Loved every second, will definitely be back. The photos don’t do the property justice. It’s a lot bigger than expected. Great for local walks and so close to Keswick and local attractions. Fantastic.

    Apartment above the Golf club house. Reserved parking outside the apartment. Keswick golf club is about 6 miles out of Keswick, it’s very quiet and the views are lovely. We found it a fine base to explore an area we didn’t know that well. For those who prefer quiet to the hustle and bustle of the staying in the bigger towns it really is ideal.
