Griffon Lodge is a bright, airy and comfortable lodge for couples, friends or families of up to six to have some downtime, relax in the bubbling hot tub on the raised deck which wraps around the lodge, and sit and watch the world go by. With some trees and greenery at the front the lodge, it is ideally located offering some privacy, yet only a short walk to the on-site restaurant and café.
This 40-acre country park is home to a pretty lake with resident swans and wildlife, where you can take an evening stroll then perhaps enjoy something to eat on-site or take a few minutes’ drive to one of the many restaurants and pubs nearby.
Located close to the A1, yet you feel like you are in a country retreat, so you have the best of both worlds for exploring the local area. Children with you will love the Northumberland Zoo, which is only ½ mile away or within walking distance for those who enjoy walking. Burgham Park Golf Course is only half a mile, ideal for the golfers in the family.
