The apartment is a relaxing haven for families or the perfect romantic escape and is also ideal for water sports enthusiasts walkers and sun bathers with the beach just a 5-minute walk. There is an allocated parking space close to the entrance of the apartment building and one flight of internal stairs leads to the entrance. The hallway leads to an open plan living space with solid oak flooring and the kitchen boasts handmade solid wood kitchen units and worktops. Padded window seats in both the living and kitchen areas provide panoramic views of Carbis Bay Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond to the open Atlantic Ocean. The comfortable master bedroom has white painted wooden furniture a bay window with fabulous sea views and an additional seating area. The fully tiled bathroom has contemporary fittings and a double-ended bath with a large shower head. Dressing gowns slippers Orla Kiely toiletries and an excellent welcome basket including local produce are also provided.\n\nSt Ives has a picturesque harbour choice of beaches and art culture including the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum. The waterfront is dotted with great restaurants and tea rooms where you can sit and enjoy the view whatever time of day. The town and harbour is within easy reach by road a 5-minute drive or by scenic coastal train direct in to the town. Alternatively it can be reached by a 30-minute spectacular coastal walk.\n\nThis diverse county offers wide long sandy beaches popular with surfers and intimate coves and bays. The rugged north coast and the tranquil sailing waters of the south coast can be easily reached as well as the gateway to West Cornwall including the historic town of Marazion with St Michaels Mount Penzance and the quaint harbour and village of Mousehole. The area offers a wide selection of excellent restaurants bistros cafés and pubs. Beach ¼ mile.     The apartment was beautiful and everything we needed was there. The local area was a bit quiet for us. Beach was beautiful however if you are in any way unfit the path to and from the beach was difficult. We took our dog but bear in mind that dogs are not allowed in the garden, on the beach. You need to go into St Ives to the dog friendly beach.

    Lovely holiday, loved comfort of the apartment, the surrounding area and as a base fir days out. Plus we had really good weather too. A great holiday. Only draw back was the parking - as often there was no room left to be able to park our car in the designated parking bay.

    We were very happy with our stay at Fernhill Apts. We did have a small dog with us and I probably wouldn't recommend taking a dog. We had 2 flights of stairs, it rained and we had to dry her outside which was a bit of a pain. Also they have a small garden out the back but we were not allowed to use, so had to walk in the rain to the park. The flooring is very very squeaky, and the sofa was very uncomfortable. The bed however was lovely! Views from the window seats were stunning! Well worth it. Next time we probably will look for a cottage with a small garden.

    Great view. Parking too tight. Visitor parking/ second space required on a first come basis. For 4 adults he apartment needs 4 dressing gowns, and 4 pairs slippers. More towels would be helpful. Welcome box was very nice, much appreciated. Thanks. Twin beds were too small for adults. Generally very enjoyable.

    We loved the apartment, and the only reason I did not give a ten was because the wooden floor was very squeaky and noisy, and I found the pillows very hard, as I am used to feather pillows. The apartment had the most fantastic views, had everything and more for what we needed for our break and a few extra touches too.

    Superb holiday apartment in Carbis Bay. Views were stunning and apartment was very well equipped. Local amenities only a short walk away - dog friendly pub, beach and supermarket. Also lovely walk into St Ives. Only fault was that we could hear people walking around and banging about above us in the penthouse - apartments could do with more soundproofing. Other than that, would highly recommend!

    This apartment was very special. It had outstanding views, easy to get to and park, beautifully decorated and furnished. I loved waking up and watching the colours changing as the sun came up and the sea came into view. Best possible location. The only 2 points which could have improved the apartment would have been wider beds. Both were narrower than we have had before and we all commented it made our sleep less comfortable. For me personally, I found that the blinds in the back bedroom allowed the light from the parking area to shine through the gaps between the slits - I am used to a dark room and I kept waking up and thinking it was morning. Sorry to gripe but everything else was perfect.
