Wake up after a good night’s sleep, pull back the curtains, and you could very easily find yourself just lying in bed enjoying the view towards Derwentwater, Skiddaw and Catbells. Once inspired and ready to explore, pull on your walking boots and get ready for a full day’s exploring. Borrowdale Valley offers spectacular walks to suit all. A low level path will take you right round the lake, or for something a little more challenging, why not catch the a boat from the village jetty across the lake to Hawes End, where you can follow a path to one of the most recognised fells in the area, Catbells. The popular market town of Keswick has an abundance of outdoor shops, cafés and restaurants, or if that sounds too much, why not pamper yourselves at the local spa for a little bit of something special to complete your stay.
