Just a short walk from Seacroft Golf Club with its 18-hole links course and the sand dunes this lovely house benefits from a good sized living space including a large conservatory a large enclosed lawned garden and the added luxury of bathrobes and slippers. Skegness has something for all the family whether it’s the traditional amusements a day out at Pleasure Beach or simply enjoying the sandy beaches. Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve is nearby to the south of Skegness with its visitor centre and great walks through the dunes and nature reserve. The centre of town is about a mile walk or catch the buses that run regularly from a stop nearby. Beach ½ mile.     Modern Luxury but Superficial & Unbalanced Accommodation. Great location. The house is in a quiet residential area well positioned for beach and town. Adequate parking space for several cars. Reasonably priced for a great family weekend gathering. Compared to other large group properties in the area this looks amazing. However we had a few minor issues with the property that just needs some attention to make it perfect. Master suite is large in comparison to the rest of the accommodation, which gives an unfair balance for all guests. Only the master and the downstairs bedroom had bathrobes and there was only one pair of slippers in the entire property, so not as described. Only the bathrooms had hand towels and there was none in the downstairs toilet. Could not find any spares anywhere so had to use a tea-towel from the kitchen. Some of the bath towels were smaller than the ones in the master bedroom. All the bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space but hardly enough space for the double beds. One room has a bed up against a wall which means you have to climb over the other person to get in and out. The door lock on that room failed and the guests could not get out. This same upstairs bedroom also has the light switch in it for the downstairs conservatory. Not very convenient to say the least. It feels like the whole of upstairs favours the master bedroom in all aspects and that the rest of the rooms are insignificant. There is only one toilet upstairs to be shared between four bedrooms. The shower room has a great large shower but really would benefit the whole house if it had a toilet and hand basin as well. The towel and toilet roll holders in the master bathroom were falling off the walls and I personally did not thinking the print of a naked women was appropriate for a property which is supposed to be suitable for family groups. The wall fixing for a stairgate at the top of the stairs was also falling off the wall. The kitchen looks glamorous, has lots of cupboard space with plenty of white goods and cleaning equipment as well as recycling bins but not enough thought has been given to other equipment for cooking. There is no bread knife and the other knives need sharpening. Trying to cook a meal for 11 people with only two large saucepans and very little else was a challenge but a great source of amusement. One small plastic measuring jug but nothing to serve drinks or sauces in. A shortage of bowls for serving salads/ veg etc. No suitable crockery or cutlery for young children. Other places we have stayed provide some plastic beakers, plates and cutlery. One of the stools in the kitchen fell apart and was not safe to use. There is a trampoline in the garden but no other play equipment for children. The games room is definitely geared up for adult/ teenager entertainment. Other places often have a few games and books suitable for children but there is nothing here. I felt that despite there being a cot , highchair and stairgates this place really did not want children there. To give a balance of fairness it may have been the fact that the weather was not very good so we spent more time inside the house than we might have done otherwise which may mean we noticed more problems. This house has lots of good features and downstairs space. Very large TV in the lounge which can be seen whilst using the gym equipment. All the rooms have TV's with remote controls that actually work. Good WiFi connection, lovely spacious conservatory, everywhere clean and comfy beds with good bed linen. Overall felt this house looks good on the surface but underneath has a few minor issues which could easily be resolved. Would probably use again because of its location but would be better informed about things we would need to take with us.

    Field view house is an exceptional property. We were a party of 5 adults and 4 children and it catered for all of us The children particularly enjoyed the trampoline!

    Had the best time in this modern self contained,spacious holiday home.The sky tv's are great and loved the games room,plenty of room to chill.modern kitchen/dining room to entertain we would visit again?
