    Located within the rural village of Peak Forest, in the heart of the Peak District National Park, Fields Farm Apartment is a warm and welcoming first floor apartment. The property, situated adjacent to the owner’s home, offers a comfortable open plan living space, with a wood burner taking pride of place for those cosy nights in. Beautifully decorated throughout with the most wonderful use of space, it is located a matter of minutes’ walk from a pet friendly pub serving good food.
    Superb walking is available direct from the door including to Eldon Hole, named ‘one of the seven wonders of the Peak District’, and you are wonderfully placed for exploring the surrounding Peak District towns and villages. Within easy reach is the pretty village of Edale, 20 minutes, home to the start/end of the Pennine Way. The beautiful honeypot village of Castleton is around a 15-minute drive, as is the fascinating ‘plague’ village of Eyam and the spa town of Buxton. The large, ancient village of Tideswell is around 10 minutes away, and the impressive Chatsworth House Estate, Haddon Hall and the National Trust’s Lyme Park can all be reached in around half an hour. Traffic free cycling is available on the nearby Tissington and Monsal trails, and for those thrill seekers, Alton Towers is approximately an hour away. Shop 4¼ miles and pub serving food 100 yards.

    This was our first visit to the Peak District and Field Farm was perfect. All the welcome goodies were very much appreciated and enjoyed. The apartment has everything you need and was a very comfortable place to stay. We were close to a lot of lovely places to visit. We would definitely like to stay again and will be recommending the cottage to family and friends.

    This was a birthday gift for my girlfriend and what great little break it was . A beautifully presented and spotlessly clean cottage. With very warm and welcoming owners sharing all their local knowledge. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be returning. Simply perfect.

    One of the best holiday cottages I have ever stayed in and I've stayed in a few. The hosts are very generous with their supplies and help, could not have been more friendly. Location is fabulous, so near to Buxton, Castleton and Hope. We loved the cottage, so clean, so tidy and we felt really at home. Fantastic week with fantastic weather too.

    We arrived to a lovely warm welcoming from both liz & neil just lovely people the apartment was gorgeous and well equipped with all amenities that we needed right down to bottle of Prosecco milk butter bread and lovely fresh eggs from the chicken that are there we had such a lovely and relaxing time we would definitely recommended x

    This property was perfect in every way. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very comfortable and cosy. There was an abundance of good walks on the doorstep but it was a short drive to a good pub. The owners were friendly and helpful. The dog wash in the utility was brilliant feature and came in very handy even for the muddy walking boots. We would definitely stay here again if we return to this area.

    Fantastic place and ideal for a short break, particularly for dog owners. The accommodation is very well done, modern and clean. Everything you need is there. The owners are very welcoming and helpful and they even ensured we had bubbles on Valentines Day! The facility to be able to shower dogs in the purpose built shower in the utility room is a very nice touch and ensures everything in the living area itself stays clean. Would not hesitate to go back.

    This was a fabulous apartment, everything was clean and with great attention to detail. It is only a short distance from Buxton but very peaceful and relaxing. The owners (Liz & Neil) were very friendly. There is even a dog wash facility to use if you take your pooch with you. Would definitely recommend
