We loved it so much last time we came back! A well situated, well equipped property. Some very thoughtful touches from the owner. A great base for us to catch up with our local friends and lots of dog friendly places too - all within walking distance. Parking permit is great; parked, unpacked and left the car safely outside the cottage for the duration of our stay. Will be back next year.

What an absolute gem lovely clean property small but perfectly formed. Owners greeted us on arrival and were very pleasant and informative. Ideally located for York centre. Steep stairs to first floor but this is highlighted in the property description and we had no problems with them. I would highly recommend this holiday property and would definitely visit again!! 5 stars and 10/10

Lovely Place to stay and just a walk into the centre of York. I would change the dining room and the tv room around so everyone can watch the tv.

We booked a long weekend to meet up with friends. Cottage perfectly situated to walk to the centre of York and having Rowntree Park so close was fabulous for our dog. Permit parking meant we didn’t have to worry about finding somewhere for the car. A few minutes walk to the Winning Post for a drink and meal which was great as we arrived a few hours later than planned and it’s dog friendly as are many places in York. The cottage itself was clean and well equipped with everything we could think of and more! Overall a fabulous weekend and we would stay again.

Our second visit at this lovely cottage. Super location near park, pub and shops and York centre. The stairs to first floor are steep but we knew this before we booked.

Sorry for the delay, the cottage was excellent and well kitted out, we had no problems with the steep stairs that we were warned about prior to our arrival. The location was ideal, with only a short walk into York and the Rowntree's park on the doorstep. The local pub does excellent meals and well recommended.

A well presented and clean house. We stayed in winter and the central heating kept us very warm. The attention to detail was much better than in some holiday rentals I have stayed in. The kitchen was well provided with utensils and the rest of the house provision of necessary items was equally good. I would definitely stay here again.
