No smoking.\n This contemporary comfortable semi-detached house is suitable for couples and smaller families and offers off road parking for two vehicles. It also benefits from a good sized fully enclosed rear garden with raised decking area ideal for a morning coffee or a glass of wine. The seafront of Sandown is just a short stroll downhill and is a truly traditional British beach resort with pier amusements pitch ’n’ putt Isle of Wight Zoo children’s play area and Dinosaur Isle at the northern end of the esplandade towards Yaverland and Culver Cliff. The town is brimming with attractions to entertain visitors most of them right on the beachfront itself so you never have to stray too far from the golden sands. The coastal path along the cliffs or the sea wall makes for a beautiful scenic walk along to neighbouring Shanklin where you can visit Shanklin Chine a deep wooded gorge with streams and waterfalls.\nOutdoor pursuits on the island are well catered for and include riding fishing cycling paragliding water sports and golf.\nThere are numerous attractions to discover for all ages on this beautiful sunny island. The Needles landmark attraction is a must see and is a short distance away to the west with its chairlift amusement park boat rides lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay. Why not pay a visit to Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence Osborne House and Gardens perhaps Blackgang Chine the oldest themed attraction in the UK Ventnor Botanical Gardens Tapnell Farm Park Carisbrooke Castle or the sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes.     Great place to stay but blinds to the kitchen window would improve greatly also lounge curtains a bit dark but thats being picky.

    We were holidaying with 2 kids and the family dog so Firs Court was great. The garden was brilliant for a sunny breakfast and enough space to keep the kids and dog entertained. The location is perfect for getting to the beach, shops and pier and great dog walks in nearby Los Altos park.

    Lovely house but a bit short of utensils when we arrived (ie airing rack and tea pot). Lack of attention to detail.

    Ideal location, easy walk to Sandown and beaches. Very quiet location. We enjoyed staying here, it was ideal for three adults and a dog, very useful having a safe and secure garden. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

    Fits Court was a great base for exploring the IoW. A fab location for Sandown with the beach just a short walk from the house.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Firs Court. On arrival we found the house to be clean and welcoming with a small enclosed garden,perfect for the dog. It was also handy having off road parking. The only minus was that there were no basic provisions ie salt,pepper,bin liners,dish cloths. Location is perfect! A short stroll to local amenities and sandy beach where there are dog friendly pubs and bars. A 5 min walk the other way takes you to the station where you can catch the train to Ryde or Shanklin.We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting The Isle of Wight!
