Everything good about the property only missing a view due to location but owners could do nothing about that. Central for everything in Wells next the sea

We had a wonderful holiday at Fishermans cottage. The welcome pack was a really lovely surprise! Wells was beautiful and so was the weather. Would highly recommend the cottage to anyone.

We were absolutely blown away with Fisherman's Cottage. The location is amazing, right on the wharf. The cottage itself is clean, spacious, and furnished with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday whatever the weather. There are books, games (adults and children), cd's, DVD,s etc, etc. The welcome pack of goodies and cooking essentials (and a bottle of wine!) was unexpected but greatly appreciated. The two en suite bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and plenty of towels. It is difficult to overstate how impressed we were with everything about Fisherman's Cottage. The only issue is car parking. The blurb says parking spaces for two small cars. Make that VERY small cars! We had one car ( a Vauxhall Zafira) and we had no major problems parking across the two spaces. There is ample paid parking within a few yards on the wharf or you could probably find free on-street parking at the top of the town. All in all thoroughly reccommended.

Had a marvellous week, assisted by excellent weather. Only two of us in the cottage so plenty of space, but location is quiet but superbly located for the quayside, local shops and eateries. It also important to have own parking space.

Lovely cottage, spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The central location is lovely with plenty of amenities. The only downside is the parking which is difficult for anything other than a small car. We had two cars with us, one of which we managed to park across the two bays, the other had to go into a public car park.

A lovely four day stay with local amenities and nearby walks to the beach, made enjoyable with the lovely weather. It was however an experience driving through the narrow alley to the property!

This cottage is simply stunning in every respect. It is in the heart of the town with on site parking. Every effort (including a very useful welcome pack) has been made to ensure a lovely stay. If you're thinking about staying there...do it!

Great location within Wells - just across the road from the Quay. Good cottage, but parking and road access to property not easy for large vehicles.

We shared part of our week with the "Beast from the East" and we could not keep the place warm. The thermostat was very strange, although digital, we think it was somehow permanently set on 17 c. and not obvious to change, and the boiler upstairs was "out of bounds". There was a cellar too which was not lagged, so there were only floor boards between our cold feet and the "beast" below. The bathrooms were dismal and were in need of bringing up to date. 2 gas burners on the stove did not work and 2 venetian blinds were broken. There was a dishwasher but not enough tableware etc to use it. The parking was very difficult.

Wonderful cottage in a lovely location. Really cosy with lots of attention to detail. Parking space outside a real bonus.
