Well equipped and comfortable cottage situated in a quiet lane. There were some “glitches” - no instructions on how to use the induction hob, radiators in sitting room didn’t warm up enough to heat the room and the shower in the main bedroom was impossible to turn on. Although the cottage was opposite the church and the clock struck the hour day and night it wasn’t loud enough to keep you awake!

Second visit and much better prepared this time; thanks Debbie. Pub & green lovely but nearest shop is a few miles away. Not really suitable for families and stairs quite steep but suits us as a couple and keeps our dog happily downstairs and cool on the tiles!

Even though it rained heavily all day nearly every day we enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable and the kings head pub, just a few minutes walk away serves good food. There’s nothing else in the village although stow on the wold is only 10 minutes drive. The central heating was a hit and miss and the WiFi slow. Otherwise 10/10.

An old cottage with some character. Upstairs very inviting. Downstairs dark and more homely. Mostly well equipped and very comfortable beds. Quiet location. Limited parking. On the Oxfordshire way for walkers. Excellent welcome pack of top quality tea, coffee etc. When we stayed a few items were broken or didn’t work (eg flush in en-suite) so it seemed a bit overpriced for the top fee we paid.

A delightful cottage, very well equipped and very cozy. The local pub is everything you want from a traditional English pub - good beer, good food and a log fire. Would definitely recommend the cottage and look forward to returning.

Spent a very pleasing Christmas week at the charming cottage. Fairy lights outside the cottage would have been nice. And the sofa would benefit from new padding. Nevertheless the very enjoyable stay. ?
