Welcome pack. Balcony with furniture. On road parking some free some by permit at £2.80 per day. No smoking. \n \nEnjoying a balcony with glorious sea views this delightful apartment is nestled in the middle of Saint Leonards-on-Sea. This was once an old fishing village and then catapulted to the centre of the tourist boom in the 19th century when James Burton decided to create a smaller Brighton. This is an original seaside Regency new town where there is a mile long promenade ideal for strolling or cycling along. Enjoy the vintage feel of the place with interesting antique shops galleries laid back cafes and with a Kino cinema 300 yards away. Enjoy a walk into Hastings old town where guests can see the iconic net huts medieval cottages and enjoy fish and chips. You can hire bikes or take a bus to Battle Abbey and soak up the history. The station is also close by and will enable you to not only visit our splendid capital city but nip across to France or Belgium via Ashford International.     Ground floor flat seemed good but it is five storeys down at the front thus a steep clime home every time. I did not open balcony because I fear our dog would easily clime through/ over to a 15 M drop.Pity really as the position to the facilities was good. The flat was clean and tidy. We enjoyed our short 3night break

    Great accommodation, suited our purpose for visiting relatives. On street parking is a bit of a lottery, but it is what it is.

    Carpets could do with a good clean. Parking can be a real problem. St Leonard's or Hastings not particularly dog friendly.

    Had a very enjoyable week's stay at 2 Clarence House, St Leonards-on-sea with my husband and my elderly mother. Loved exploring St Leonards and Hastings. Will miss having breakfast on the balcony, with the lovely sea view and early morning walks through St Leonards gardens and the sea front with Alfie our Jack Russell terrier. Soft, comfortable bed and lovely sea views from our bedroom. Could do with a few more hangers, luckily I brought my own, and a decent tin opener but other than that we had a great time and would come back.
