I can honestly say I have never stayed in accommodation that is so clean and well presented. Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. I travelled with my husband and two children and found everything we needed and more in the house. Wi-fi, free sat TV, games, books and playing cards are there to use if you are not wanting to venture out. The surrounding area has lots to offer from walks through beautiful woodland, Urquhart Castle, the Loch Ness Experience all a stones through away. Lots of choice in village for top quality meals at reasonable prices. A very warm Highland welcome awaits you from Kirstie and all the locals. We had a really magical stay and would happily return. A credit to the owners.

Four Winds cottage is a real home away from home, and is the perfect base to explore Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands, the property is very clean and well presented and has everything that you will need to enjoy your stay, the property is situated in a quiet part of the village with great views of the surrounding countryside, there is, a well stocked shop a short walk away and there are also places to eat and drink within easy walking distance. the kitchen is very well equipped with everything that you will need to enjoy your stay and even has a Pump Espresso Coffee Machine for barista style coffee lovers, the bathroom was very clean and well fitted with a walk in shower that is very powerful and was a refreshing start to the day. the owners are very welcoming and friendly and Four Winds cottage was a perfect base for our stay in the Scottish Highlands and we would definitely stay here again when in the area

This cottage was spotlessly clean. It is in a very quiet location, off street parking for two cars right by the door, nice garden, handy for both Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Handy bus route to either Inverness or Fort William. Kirstie was very nice and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. As other reviewers have put... very powerful lovely shower!!! Definitely recommend.

Cottage was fabulous, from the quality linen, towels, crockery , cutlery, pans to even the light fittings....it was all first rate. Bathroom and kitchen were excellent...and must mention the tremendous shower - best shower we have ever had. Garden was ideal for our grandson playing in and the walks down through Urquhart woods were a must - we spent hours playing in the river. Kirstie was a fabulous host and although we had absolutely no issues, she made it clear that she was close by to resolve anything. Fabulous cottage, would highly recommend.

Our stay at four winds was great.A big thank you to Kirstie & Fraser for there lovely wecome and consideration for us to have a good time at there lovely bungalow. We found four winds very clean, well presented with good quality fixtures and fittings. May I mention that although the description says steps to entry, if you do so at the back door the garden has a more level approach and would be easy for wheelchair ,then all doors are extra wide and all furnished with dissabled access in mind.the drive is also generously wide and we could park the car and open both doors fully. Situated in a quiet area with great views of the surrounding hills from the lounge. There was everything we could hope for and more for cooking and preparing meals.even car washing equipment. All the towels and bedding was very good quality and spotless.the bathroom is newly fitted and again dissabled frendly, great walk in shower with ample hot water.all in all we had a brilliant time.
