Fourteen is located on a residential area on the periphery of Alnwick giving the benefit of parking. \n\nA supermarket can be found less than a mile away and the town centre itself offers a wide array of amenities including a cinemaplayhouse independent shops restaurants tea rooms and a variety of pubs. \n\nVisit Alnwick Castle home to the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland or Alnwick Gardens with its fantastic grand cascade waterfall and a restaurant set within the largest tree house in Europe. \n\nFourteen makes an excellent base giving easy access to explore the Cheviot Hills to the west and the beautiful stretch of golden sandy beaches this area is renowned for to the east.     We enjoyed our week at 14 and will certainly go there again. It had everything we needed and more. It's situated in a very quiet and friendly neighbourhood with easy access to the coast and the town of Alnwick itself.

    There was everything you could possibly want in the bungalow and it was well placed for local amenities. Parking for 2 cars in the allocated space (shared with neighbour) was at best tight but there were plenty of 'street' parking outside so not a massive problem. The bungalow was lovely and very well equipped and would not hesitate to return. The only grouse I had, was that the conservatory door to the garden outside could not be opened, so this may be a problem in summer if it gets too hot inside. Apart from that, everything else was great and the bed was good quality and so comfortable!

    A well appointed bungalow in a good location both for access to Alnwick shops and the coast. However it was not cheap and for the cost one would have expected the provision of a toilet roll and soap to wash hands with. Also only 3 dishwasher tablets for a week when the smallest quantity you can buy is 36! It takes the edge of strongly recommending this as an ideal holiday let.
