A lovely, comfortable and warm bungalow. View across the sea is lovely to wake up to. We had good weather so didn't need the heating on. Plenty of hot water, and a very high water pressure! The owners, Grant and Sue, were very welcoming. A welcome pack was provided, including a bottle of wine and some honey that had been locally made. All in all a lovely place to stay, and peaceful too.

We absolutely LOVED our holiday at Fourwinds. It has to be one of the cleanest and tidiest properties that we have ever been (and we do go a lot) The location is superb especially if you are looking for absolute peace and quiet just a stones throw from the sea.We would go and stay there any time it was everything that we were looking for.

We have been on many self catering holidays over the years, some good, some not so good, and some dire properties. I have to say that our break at Fourwinds excelled all our previous experiences. We only decided to book a couple of weeks prior to our break, we had been contacted by Grant and Susan the owners asking us to contact them when we were close to the bungalow when they would make their way to open Fourwinds up for us. we were amazed my the place, so close to the sea, a beautiful, clean well equipped bungalow. We had 7 fabulous peaceful days with the option of exploring the surrounding area and had uninterrupted view of the sea. Susan and Grant left us a lovely welcome pack for our arrival which was gratefully accepted there was even a telephone in the property should we need to use it. Without a doubt we will be returning to Fourwinds and Drummore.

Absolutely stunning views in very remote area but as long as you got a car that’s no problem as the views on the drive anywhere are beautiful. Very lovely people who met us on arrival and talked us through everything. Would definitely stay again

The bungalow is perfectly kept; beautifully clean and well equipped. The owners are extremely discreet, though they live in the village only minutes away so are willing to come (and they did so) if one has any problems or queries. Couldn't be faulted. Absolutely out of the control of anyone except the local council is the street lighting, which we found disappointingly bright and of course it polluted the darkness in this area that's designated as having particularly dark skies, so fantastic for viewing night skies, planets, moon or - in our case - the Northern Lights (Areola Borealis) ... though we needed to drive away from the bright street lights to see that in full glory from round the hill. Aromatic neighbours in the form of a field of cows brought interest! This house has earned its Gold Stars for excellent standards. DO NOTE that, although photos show an open fire, the owners do not advertise an open fire and indeed the flue is blocked. The good news is no draughts down the chimney! Of course, fire-lovers will know the disappointing news - but this is congruent with the owners' description. Simply don't assume that the photo means what you hope, because it doesn't - as the owners are clear to describe.

Wonderfully equipped cottage in the most beautiful and peaceful location. Opening the curtains to that incredible view every morning was a real treat! There is plenty to do nearby or a short drive away as well, and the owners were very friendly and helpful with suggesting things. There is also plenty of information in the welcome pack and a stack of leaflets if you can't decide what to pack into your week. I would definitely visit again.
