Ideal for up to four guests the lodge is south facing with full glass frontage maximising light and ambiance and the outside decks are ideal to enjoy some quiet time in the sun. The accommodation is immaculately presented throughout with much thought care and attention to the finer details. Framlington Villa is ideally situated providing a suitable base to explore Northumberland’s historic landmarks and wonderful scenery.\nThe historic town of Rothbury is 4 miles away while Alnwick and Morpeth are both approximately 9 miles. Locally Longframlington is ¾ mile from the property and offers 2 pub restaurants a newsagents a café bakery award winning butchers and a general store.     Good location, easy access to main roads. Beds very comfortable, plenty hot water, shower excellent and super towels. Comfy cottage overall, but lacked ambient lighting in the lounge area. A working fire would be a great asset and make it a lot cosier! Kitchen small but manageable, although fridge way too small, a fridge freezer would be better! Decking outside property is lethal in wet and frosty conditions, there are signs telling you this, but anti slip paint would be advantageous!

    Our holiday was very successful. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen/dining room were well equipped. Lighting in the lounge area was inadequate for reading or other close work. Ditto the kitchen - I needed a torch to see the cooker controls. I didn’t find the heating easy to control. However, overall we enjoyed the week.
