Our holiday was very successful. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen/dining room were well equipped. Lighting in the lounge area was inadequate for reading or other close work. Ditto the kitchen - I needed a torch to see the cooker controls. I didn’t find the heating easy to control. However, overall we enjoyed the week.

It was a lovely cottage. My only quibble is I could have done with one more tea towel & some black bin bags! Otherwise 10 out of 10.

The cottage is perfectly fine, furnished nicely. Was a bit chilly when we stayed in March, no additional heat available apart from the underfloor heating. Bedrooms warm enough but took a bit of getting used to for the heating for the main room. Kitchen well equipped. Inital welcoming good. But our main issue and the only issue was the fact they advertise they have Wifi and they DO NOT. The owners have tried to piggy back the Wi-Fi from their own house but it hasn't worked. This was a major issue for us as we had to do work whilst away and were unable to do anything from the cottage. This was a major negative for us. We had to go out during the day and get stuff done and not fully enjoy our break. If there had been good 4G from the cottage this would have been satisfactory but unfortunately we couldn't get that either. When looking for a cottage the Wi-Fi is important due to our work commitments. To say there is wifi when there isn't is not pleasant at all. It also made researching places to visit difficult too. Overall a very nice cottage, with great facilities but not as advertised regarding Wi-Fi.

Enjoyed our stay at the villa which we found so clean (makes a change) the beds where comfy and well presented. There was plenty of room to spread out in the main area and we where glad that there is now a DVD player to the main TV. The weather was ok and we managed to do some great walks, we would like to be at the Villa in Summer for the outside seating, it is amazing. We think the Villa would benefit from a good reading lamp as the lights are so high in the ceiling its not bright enough to read. The only thing we found strange is that there where NO hand towels for the bathrooms, so we had to use the bath towels all the time !!

We loved this cottage- modern and spacious, well equipped and located, and excellent value for money. We had a great week, and there are so many things to do around the area, including days out and lovely places to eat.
