    Constructed for summer 2018, Framlington Corner is a purpose built cedar wood holiday lodge tucked down a quiet lane on the fringe of the picturesque village of Longframlington. Situated just 45 yards from Framlington Villa (ref CC324023), in a peaceful location and surrounded by stunning open countryside, this property provides comfortable and quality accommodation. Ideal for up to four guests, the lodge is south facing with full glass frontage maximising light and ambiance and the outside decks are ideal to enjoy some quiet time in the sun. The lodge is immaculately presented throughout with much thought, care and attention to the finer details. Framlington Corner is ideally situated, providing a suitable base to explore Northumberland’s historic landmarks and wonderful scenery.
    The historic town of Rothbury is 4 miles away, while Alnwick and Morpeth are both approximately 9 miles. Locally, Longframlington is ¾ mile from the property and offers 2 pub restaurants, a newsagents, a café, bakery, award winning butchers and a general store. The historic market town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you can explore the Alnwick Gardens and the famous castle used in the Harry Potter films, or spend time browsing in Barter Books bookstore, created within the former Alnwick Rail Station.
    Heading east is the beautiful Heritage Coastline, miles of unspoilt beaches, castles, seaside towns, boat trips, and of course fish and chips! Head inland to Kielder Water for the highly acclaimed Northumberland International Dark Sky Park and Kielder Observatory, osprey watching on the reservoir or see the wildlife abound along woodland and country trails. Beach 13 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.

High standard holiday home with many thoughtful touches by the owners which enhanced the holiday home and our stay. Good base for exploring the surrounding countryside and coastline. Unfortunately the internet was not working during our stay. Just to add a finishing statement to say that the cottage was a credit to the owner's.

An excellent cottage and ideally situated to explore Northumberland. We had an enjoyable stay despite weather for early June. Rooms were warm without the need for heating. Would have liked a chair in the bedroom instead of using one from dining table. No accessible socket for use with hair drier at bedroom mirror without moving drawer unit. Would have no hesitation in returning to property.

the internet was very poor-don't rely on it to research the local area-this is the main reason equipment above didn't score 10. The wrong toilet seat was fitted which was a bit irritating as it moved around. Everything else about FC was great. tea coffee biscuits milk foil cling film wash up liquid dishwasher tabs loo roll- all provided Well equipped kitchen-microwave is 750W and not combination, gas hob and oven, wash m/c but hard to dry clothes as heating is underfloor so the only radiators are in the bathroom. Extensive utensils provided-knives/tin and bottle openers,weigh scales etc. TV's in lounge and both bedrooms. Good quality bed linen and towels. Well stocked Co-op in Rothbury 6 miles away with long opening hours. Quiet location but handy for lots of days out.

The property is down a lane about three quarters of a mile from Long Framlington - set in open farmland near to the owner's farmhouse. It's a modern, well equipped, aesthetically pleasing, very recently constructed timber building. Based on a glass fronted central living area with large en-suite bedrooms at either end it has clean lines, is well lit and there's plenty of space. We stayed at Framlington Corner the week before Christmas and it was quiet, warm and comfortable. There are two properties side by side, the other wasn't occupied. Ian (the owner) was sociable and helpful during our visit. Although the days were short at that time of the year we managed to get out to the coast, up to the Scottish borders and over to Kielder Water as well as more local spots just south of the Cheviots.

Lovely almost new cedar lodge. Well equipped and the layout with the 2 bedrooms at either end of the lodge is perfect for privacy and quiet. Nice Wecome Pack The only slight negative was it is further from the 2 village pubs than I thought, although there is a handy taxi company. In summer months this would not be a problems.

Lovely comfortable accommodation in quiet relaxing area. Close to all areas of interest you would want to visit in Northumberland. Would not hesitate to recommend this holiday home. Recommend Northumberland Arms in Felton for excellent food and really pleasant friendly staff.
