These holiday cottages, six of a group of nine, share an indoor heated swimming pool, and are nestled within 8 acres of grounds with formal gardens, woodland, pasture and a river where picnics can be enjoyed. They are all comfortably furnished and three are adapted with disabled guests in mind.
Shire cottage is suitable for 6 adults or 4 adults with up to 6 young children. In addition there is a sofa bed. Bed rails, monkey pole, bed board, height adjusters for beds and sofa available on request.
Great shared activities on site include the pool (check availability in low season November to March), games room with table tennis and a coin-operated pool table, children’s play area, animals and a barbecue with seating by the river. They are situated amid beautiful unspoilt countryside providing easy access to the rugged Cardigan Bay coast (a 15-20 minute drive) with spectacular scenery, cliff top walks, sandy bays, fishing villages; and the Cambrian Mountains with their vast forests, moors and lakes. Fishing, golf, horse riding, watersports, activity centres, country houses, ancient monuments, castles, mines, steam railways, museums and crafts are all available in the area. The historic university town of Lampeter, with its restaurants, takeaways, pubs, shops and supermarkets, is only a 10-minute drive. A shop/post office/garage and a pub/restaurant are within 3 miles.
