These beautifully renovated barn conversions stand side by side, with the owner also living on-site, in the heart of a working family farm, within 270 acres of fields and arable land. This wonderful area makes an ideal location for enjoying the myriad of scenic walks available from the door and within the surrounding area. Guests are welcome to explore the farm where they see the animals roam, and even try some freshly laid eggs. Each property has its own enclosed lawned garden with a sitting-out area, as well as shared used of a lawned front garden, complete with a children’s play area, and an external games barn with table tennis, swing ball and much more. There is even an on-site shop for locally sourced provisions (by honesty box). The Cart Shed (ref UKC3898) offers a spacious, beamed, open plan living space, housing a wood burner, making it perfect all year round. The Hay Barn (ref UKC3899) offers a contemporary design also featuring beams, as well as a vaulted ceiling allowing for a light and airy feel. Both properties makes the perfect base to explore Hampshire.The surrounding area is perfect for sightseeing with the beautiful cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, both within easy reach, as well as the historic town of Romsey, which has a selection of shops, pubs and eateries. National Trust’s Mottisfont Abbey is well worth a visit, as is the New Forest National Park with its extensive heathland and roaming ponies. Many beaches are within an hour’s drive including Calshop, Mudeford, Hengistbury Head, Bournemouth and Lepe Country Park. The 18th-century mansion of Broadlands, former home of Lord Palmerston and also of the late Lord Louis Mountbatten, is nearby with its extensive gardens. Open to the public throughout July and August, it hosts a range of craft shows, concerts and events throughout the year. Children will also enjoy the theme park, Paultons Park, with its rides and Peppa Pig area attractions. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant 1¾ miles.These properties can be booked together to sleep up to 14 guests.

Stunning barn conversion in a wonderful rural location. We really enjoyed our week here!
We enjoyed staying here as a family of 4. It is extremely spacious and the children loved seeing all the farm animals.
